Herbalife Ltd., Los Angeles, CA, has appointed Shankar Suryanarayanan senior vice president of global operations. He will be responsible for leading the strategic development of the company’s manufacturing, strategic sourcing, supply chain, and process improvement efforts on a global basis. Mr. Suryanarayanan joins the company from Sandoz, a division of Novartis, where he was head of global sourcing and purchasing.
